A joint venture led ARD, spearheaded the acquisition of the 263,000 Penrose Plaza Shopping Center. The partnership also includes Onyx Equities of Woodbridge, New Jersey. Plans for the project include a major expansion of the anchor food market operated by Browns Super Stores, Inc. along with a re-tenanting of the currently vacant 95,000 square foot former K mart store into Planet Fitness, DD’s (Ross) and Citi Trends. Other tenants include Wine and Spirits, Wendy’s, Burger King, Wells Fargo, Citizens Bank and KidSmiles.
